BIO/
Agata Wierzbicka is a Warsaw based freelance visual artist, who works on a junction of art and illustration.
'Wierzbicka works illustrate human in daily life situations but out of the context. The artist focuses on what is the most important: emotions, movement and body. Illustrated characters are captured in short moment, on a blank background, which allows the recipients concentrate on their individuality and expression. (…) The illustrator uses different techniques, although she prefers digital drawing and acrylic. As she states about herself, she is not patient enough to focus on a particular illustration for more than a few days. This is a reason why her works might give the impression of not finished. In my opinion this is the strength of Wierzbicka’s illustrations – she underlines and crystalizes what is the most important in them – human and his individuality.' /// Alicja Woźnikowska Woźniak - Design Alive, Winter, 2016.
